Ben Maclay founded Cogent Construction in 2004. From our beginning as a quality framing contractor, we have evolved into a quality general contractor capable of executing any project large or small. Cogent Construction incorporated from a sole proprietorship in 2009, and adopted the name Cogent Construction & Remodeling Inc. Our focus has always been client satisfaction, while providing quality craftsmanship. We always enjoy projects that are a little unorthodox, that stretch us in our creativity and problem solving abilities. We pride ourselves in our ability to work with a customer’s individual needs on a project, and come up with elegant solutions both in form and in function.
